I am the bookkeeper at BMPS. I live in Union Grove. When my boys started school at Union Grove, I was always volunteering in their classrooms, which led to my being hired in 1997. I recently retired after 25 years of working for Marshall Co Schools.  I love working here so much that I have now come back part time to continue in the same position. 

I have been married 36 years to my husband, Tony Cooley. We have 2 sons, Scott and Brian.  Scott is married to Megan and they have 2 children; my precious grandchildren, Tessa, Kate and Graham.  Brian is engaged to Ayesha. We look forward to their wedding later this year. I love my family dearly, being a Mama and a Mawmaw is what I do best.

In fact, most everyone here calls me Mama Mary. I am like the mama of all the staff here at BMPS, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love this school, the students, faculty and staff are the BEST !!
